- Markshire PCs:
Kurm wants out of the Thieves’ Guild. Although he hasn’t talked to Master Whirlblurr at the moment about this at all, Kurm is concerned for Whirlblurr’s welfare, and wants to quit the Thieves’ Guild so he can protect his adopted father and assets. It’s not something he’s taken lightly, and he has no concept of the ramifications of still staying in Foothold while not ever being involved with the Yeti and crew.
Of course, Master Whirlblurr may have his own agenda, and be in some way connected with the Thieves’ Guild (or perhaps just contacted by them already). In either case, Kurm doesn’t know.
In the meantime, this message has very recently made its way to Engman’s quarters:
WE NEED TO TALK.
WHEN CAN I STOP BY?
If any other DM is available for such a CDS (with either Engman, Whirlblurr, or both), that would be super cool. If not, Kurm will just continue on his current path: avoiding direct interaction with the Thieves’ Guild. Kind of like the ‘ostrich syndrome’ cited in Clerks. If any active players and their PCs can become involved in this, so much the better.
We can work out a schedule. The restaurant gigs did not work out, so my availability has expanded somewhat.
