- Markshire PCs:
*blows the veritable mountains of dust from this thread*
In the past two years or so, I’ve created several different game projects; most of which I’ve not kept up with here. But I’m in the process of creating a handful more. A certain amount of time every Sunday is set aside for game creation, and I pick up on whatever of those projects strikes my fancy.
Yesterday, I finished up a new alpha version of a sci-fi action game given the working title of “Convoy Turret.” The current stage I’ve been working on focuses on an escort mission: guide a large, slow-moving convoy vehicle from one side of the map to the other. Along the way, giant insects emerge from their underground burrows in an attempt to destroy either the shipment or the player.
Screenshots, a link to the current download, and more information are all available on the game project page at a hobby game-making site, The Daily Click:
If you have a chance to play this, please share some feedback with me. Although still undoubtedly old-skool inspired, it’s a much more mature (and engaging) game than what I’ve made in the past, and has a lot of potential. Any guidance you veteran gamers can offer would be GREATLY appreciated.
