- Markshire PCs:
The mugs are all filled to the brim, so let the game begin,
With so many good contestants I can’t fathom who will win.
The entrants are allowed to start only after the clang of the bell,
This is a drinking contest with a grand prize, I wish them all well.
Mezano, Durok, Barrelgore and Zeb all sit with a devious grin,
The bride to be squirms anxiously, much to her chagrin,
The excitement builds and the patrons begin to chant and yell,
For the winner shall take the hand of the fair maiden Kel.
Ding! The bell sounds loudly and everyone starts to chug,
Inhaling the ale as if it were some sort of highly addicitve drug.
All five of the contestants furiously continue to consume,
There is also a free room at stake for the bride and groom.
The cheering becomes so boisterous my ears I am forced to plug,
With a loud crash the winner slams down an empty bone dry mug.
Silence, everyone stops and the other contestants glare and fume,
Kel is the winner! Looks like she won’t have to share that free room.
