So, what’s the closest airport to Myrtle Beach?

Yeah, I’m kicking the thought around…

That being said… who’s willing to come pick my ass up from the airport and then willing to take me back to the airport when the time comes?

Driving is not an option unless someone is close by to me.

Not sure. If you can’t find good tickets to that area you could fly into DC and drive down with me, but that’s a lot of travel. Thought i’d offer anyway.

How far is Charlotte from the beach house?

If things did happen to work out I can fly out of Moline to Charlotte for $250 ish.

    That may be doable.

How far is Charlotte from the beach house?

225 Miles, about 4 hours. It would be easier to fly into an airport closer to I-95, for driving’s sake. I’ll check around and let you know. What airport(s) are the closest and have the most traffic to you?

You could always ride down with Shawn and I. Nothing like a plane trip and then a long ass car ride.

So long as you are splitting gas money. 🙂

Don’t forget to add $50 handling fees to them all as well.

Honestly, I highly doubt I’ll make it. The flights that get me closer and cause someone less drive time to pick me up are way out of my price range. The ones that are cheaper make someone have to drive way too far out of their way to pick me up and to drop me off. Too much of a headache for everyone to figure that all out and it would take away party time for someone as well, I don’t want to impose on someone that much.

I doubt anyone likes me that much to do all that driving, that would be a lot of gas $$$.

So, again, because of my location I’m missing out more than likely.

We should all just fly to one location and whoop it up.

    Vegas in ’09?

meh, vegas is more expensive than you think, I just spent near $300 so I can fly there at the end of this month. Stupid airlines. Oh and you might want to think about the BWI run, that’s not so bad for me and it’s SMR’s area (not that i’m volunteering him)…

Yeah, I’m looking at the dates and my current load of vacation days, and the jury’s still out.

If things are ironed out, then Muddy I can pick you up at BWI, no problem.

Muddy, Moline-Raleigh on Delta could work. Raleigh is really not that far out of the way, and with several people prolly headed down that corridor, picking you up and dropping you off should be do-able. At $228, it’s not a bad price, either.
Think about it and let us know, but don’t wait too long or the airfare will go up. I did the best I could….. *grins*

I appreciate your effort Monty, really I do.

I’ll see what I can convince my wife, I just hate to impose on people to be responsible for picking me up and dropping me off.
