    Welcome to Markshire.

In order to make your experience on our world as enjoyable and expressive as possible we have added many haks to our module. The following files need to be downloaded to your computer to install the proper files to play on the NWN Server – Markshire :: Kingdom of Ice.

You have several options for downloading the files:

    Download Everything:
We include everything according to the folders they go in.

    • HAK folder ~ 299mb … One big download of all the HAK files for Markshire. This includes CEP 1.5.2. You are warned this will take a while.
This RAR may contain HAKs that you already have installed. If you have other Persistent World HAKs installed
      take caution while installing ours.
    • TLK folder ~ 81.9kb … The long TLK file Markshire uses is the one that comes with CEP.

    Download Phases:
These coincide with how we added stuff to Markshire. They are smaller and still separated by folders.

    • Markshire Phase I: JXP Base, Master and Mountain HAKs for Tileset Options plus our first two custom haks.
    • Markshire Phase II: Community Expansion Pack: CEP 1.5.2 …
    • Markshire Phase III: JXP Forest, Dwarven Halls, Elven City, CFR Winter, Improved Gentile Hill, Ketaros 1000 Icons Pack, and CEP Armor and Clothing Addon. Plus our own third and fourth custom haks.
    • Markshire Phase IV: The final phase. This one added the Emitter-Based Shields hak and our last custom hak to fix a few issues and add some minor Markshire-made custom content.

As we’ve stated in the past, if you don’t have the bandwidth to download these yourself, please send me a PM requesting a CD copy of them.

Download them off the Neverwinter Vault Individually:
You can learn more about each of the HAKs we utilized and download them in even smaller chunks. They all go in your HAK folder except the CEP TLK file. Excerpts are from the IGN NWVault however, The Neverwinter Vault has taken over handling the community content. They are a group of people who had been prepping for the day IGN bails on the Vaults for the various community games including NWN. Looks like IGN has had it down for a month or so. Listed in order of use. Some are so outdated that their listings didn’t make it to the new website. If the IGN NWVault returns I will add those listings. I may also make single downloads and host them on here.

    • JXP Mountains:
      The NW Vault
This hak adds 4 new tilesets to NWN! In all they provide a fairly good transition from foothills to grassy mountain base to rocky mountains to a snowy mountain top. Try out the included demo module to see for yourself. Thanks to all of the builders who contributed to the creation of the hak. They, not I, deserve full credit for the contents of this hak. If you would like to vote for this hak than I encourage you to vote for the original content creators listed below. This is one of several haks that I will be releasing that will combine common content in a modular fashion. Meaning: each file will be intended to use as a stand-alone hak or in combination with several other builder haks. They will be updated periodically and will form the basis for my own personal NWN creations. Just thought someone else might get some use out of them.
    • JXP Master:
No longer listed on the Vault
Included in this package are several haks that will insure compatibility between common combinations of my JXP Builder haks. Not all combinations are included. That is to say I haven’t created haks to support every combination. Any JXP hak will in fact work with any other JXP hak with only some minor 2da file editing. I simply put these haks together to make things a little more user friendly for the community. Also included are files to insure compatibility between my JXP Builder Series and the Elven City Tileset by Little Baron & Pogo Mudder as well as the CODI/Daggerdale Swamp Tileset by ILmaTeR. I personally will be using these two tilesets with my JXP haks so I figured I may as well release the files that make this content compatible. See the readme for complete details on how to use these files.
    • JXP Base:
No longer listed on the Vault
This hak will form the core of JXP Builder Set. It is compilation of high quality custom content that I feel complements and adds outstanding expandibility to the default tilesets. There is nothing special about this combination (except for the amazing content),it is only an effort to consolidate resources and insure compatibility. Thanks to all of the builders who contributed to the creation of this hak. They, not I, deserve full credit for the contents of this hak. • Community Expansion Pack – CEP 1.5.2:
      The NW Vault
While large it installs some of the best content available to the NWN community.
    • JXP Forest:
      The NW Vault
This is a combination of all of my favorite forest tileset add-ons using Na’s fantastic DC Forest as a base. Also included is the Tree City Enhanced tileset by geekgirljess (modified by StoneMonkey) that gives you an opportunity to walk among the treetops. Check it out yourself by trying the included demo module. Thanks to all of the builders who contributed to the creation of this hak. They, not I, deserve full credit for the contents of this hak. • Dwarven Halls
      The NW Vault
This is the Final #3 release of my Dwarven Halls Tileset. The main focus of this tileset is to display a dwarven underground settlement which looks a bit more like ‘dwarfen-built’ than the standard Bioware Tilesets. The walls are about double in height than in standard tilesets, since dwarves often tend to built the things a bit larger than other races. The tileset features a large variety of tiles, and some groups for your pleasure… The included Textures are DDS-only, no tgas (except the minimaps) included. If you like to have tgas, you can download the tga add-on.
    • Elven City:
      The NW Vault
After 2 months of hard work, Here for your enjoyment is: The Elven City Tileset. When Bioware released its last expansion (and therefore last official tileset) I decided that the one thing missing was a grand elven citadel tileset. Many of the underdark features were perfect for ‘lightening up, retexturing and de-spiking’ to make elegant elven structures. This main tileset hak includes: Non-replacing Tileset, Elven-ized Doors, Minimap & edgetiles. There is a beta ‘platform city/bridges’ feature, also.
    • CFR Winter:
      The NW Vault
This is my winter cfr with its shrunkhills add on added to it. I highly recomend using this over the other version just because all tiles have snow and i think it looks better.
    • Improved Gentile Hill
No longer listed on the Vault
This hak is made for original DOA City/Rural Builder Base 2.1, replace some tiles of DOA and add many tiles that created by me.
Usable with any version of NWN, but DOA require 1.61 or newer.
    • Ketaros 1000 Icons Pack:
No longer listed on the Vault
Here I go again with my Icons Package, this time upgrading and having ALL bugs related with alpha channels fixed. also compatible with NO-CEP and CEP users. • Emitter-Based Shields:
      The NW Vault
Emitter-Based Shields is a set of twenty-four all new and unique shields constructed entirely out of emitters. They can be used either as mana and divine shields in hi-magic worlds or as energy and force shields in hi-tech settings. Though emitter-based, these shields are not flat. They have calculated curved surfaces like real shields and carefully layered effects to simulate depth and thickness, so they do look rather good in-game. Some of these shields may work without the expansions, but the rest draw textures from the expansion packs, and so it is recommended that you have both expansions.
