For those of you who are suddenly inspired to start their own Heavy Metal (any Metal really) band … here’s a link for you:

    Metal Band Name Generator

    What’s your Band Name?

    That was great T.

I chose my band name as “Sweet Hearse”
Yeah, it’ll be my guitar hero band.

Back in the day I was in a band called: Medieval. Not my most original name, but we had a dragon mascot of sorts.

    Anyways…

Death by Chocolate – Will be the death of us all! Muhahaha!

It’s not the time spent in making it. I imagine that the person who made it was very much interested in making it for their purposes.

No, it’s the abundance of time web surfers spend in finding the random dross of the internet and spreading it about.

This particular piece came to me via a small social network of IM links. The originator is actually at the other end. Or so I am told.

    Glad everyone liked it.

Let’s hear some more cherished Metal Band names. Who had aspirations to be in a hair band? Dig deep and let loose your Metal Head.

    DOODDZ!

In my other life I am TOTALLY a kick ass motherfucking metal bassist.

Somewhere a killer cross between Steve Harris (that bass line will gallop over your ass) and Geddy Lee.

But really, I’d be lucky to be something along the lines of Alec Jon Such or Winger.

Yeah, metal sounds really good on amplitude modulated radio signals.

I’m sure all your listeners cracked their crystals in their radios!

I think one of the best Metal Band names would be my co-admin’s …

    BEYOND THE PALE

I think it belongs in a couple of the sections of the chart …

      Death > Metaphorical

      Religion > Biblical

Or we could amp it up and add some Umlauts to it.

    Bëyond The Päle

Actually BTP is a great metal name. But really, there are a few more vowels that could use umlauts there.

    • Markshire PCs:

For those of you that are familiar with nordic languages, you can represent the umlaut in English with an “e” added to the letter. Also, I don’t think the “e” in Beyond the pale would be umlauted, but more likely the “o”. So it might look like this:

    Beyoend The Paele

Now, I forget how to get that “ae” where they are smashed together, but that would look very cool.

    😀

    It’s called the Internet…

    Beyœnd The Pæle

Nah. I like it better with the Umlauts.

    Though …

    Beyønd The Päle

    Looks the coolest.

many moons ago I rocked out in a band called Ground Zero. Fer about 7 years until we “took a break”. We’ve been on that break for not quite 10 years 😛

Muddae with dots above the “u” and the ae squished together would be sweet as well.
