Yeah I don’t think this is cool that you guys booted me out of the fantasy football league. This is a keeper league thats been going on for a few years and I’ve been playing in the league since it started. Let’s also mention that I played on the server for years.
I understand that there WAS a problem with my email. There shouldn’t have been because in yahoo football league you auto invite the previous teams, which would have invite me. Having said that the decision to boot me was not because of the email, it was to include someone else that was not me. All I needed was a league ID and password in a pm if there was an email problem.
I realize that some of you guys are old buddies and you wouldn’t know me if I walked past you on the street, but I felt that I made quite a few friends in my time here. And this isn’t how you treat your friends. If you want to put some other dude in the league that you guys are buddies with, fine, be honest and say that, don’t beat around the bush, tell me I can play next season, then lock me out of the forum.August 18, 2010 at 11:58 am #58318G_kinkaidParticipant

You were not reachable by any means and appeared to be inactive. IIRC T reached out to you via PM over a couple weeks to try and get that resolved. There was no response until after you were replaced.

False. You were booted because your email was broke and you didn’t answer T’s repeated attempts to contact you (via PM on this site), I believe this went on for a couple weeks without a response. We didn’t know what was going on, you coulda been on a walkabout or on a mission trip, jogging across this great nation of ours or perhaps you just couldn’t be arsed with answering emails and pm’s. We didn’t know and we chose to fill your spot with someone that would be an active participant. We got to this point before even talking about who exactly would be brought in.

There was no beating around the bush, I believe T told you what/why you were replaced and he was being truthful.
Why is it so hard to believe you were replaced because of inactivity?August 18, 2010 at 3:03 pm #58319ThrymKeymaster

What G said.
I understand you feel that posting to the general public makes you feel like you’re being persecuted or martyred. I created the completely separate and inaccessible forum just for you so we could communicate privately as per an e-mail or PM.
Your e-mail address returns any e-mail to me EACH and EVERY time I e-mail you or the forum e-mails you or the Yahoo Fantasy Football website e-mails you. I’m sorry you don’t believe this but that’s the truth of the matter.
There was no way to contact you and for all intents and purposes you were AFK indefinitely. The draft was last weekend. You posted here FINALLY on the 7th after repeatedly not getting through to you via any other means of communication.
We needed to get the system finalized and ready prior to the draft to ensure that the 11 other players on there could plan and participate properly.
There was nothing personal about any of this. You are just choosing to make it personal. I have tried to be patient and understanding about all of this and have gotten none in return.
Post to the open forums about this matter again and I will be forced to remove your access to them. I’m sorry you are upset and we don’t want to lose you as a player but I will not have anymore of this.August 20, 2010 at 4:36 pm #58320ValgrimmParticipant

As far as my mysterious disappearance is concerned, I was away, not on a walkabout, but at the beach for a few weeks. Whatever, what’s done is done. I won’t continue to bitch and moan, but I don’t think I will be play fantasy football with you guys again. I won’t let my personal opinions interfere with in game stuff either, so no need to ban me.
The Alhoons have folded. Have a good season.
