Anyone here got into the new Sim City?
April 4, 2013 at 4:00 pm #58570No time, really. I heard the new versions of Sim City online weren’t that great – a lot of complaints about bugginess in how the city runs.
April 8, 2013 at 1:12 am #58569Heard the same things the Monty heard. Haven’t played it though. Look up the reviews on IGN.com. They’re usually a good judge about games. Or read some of the reviews there too.
April 8, 2013 at 3:07 pm #58568I haven’t run into any buggyness, but the “join game” lobby needs a lot of work. If you have friends it is easy to hook up with them, but just finding an open game to join is a pain. The game is super fun, with lots of ways to make city’s unique.
April 16, 2013 at 1:27 am #58567The stuff I heard was about connecting to other cities, fire department issues, stuff like that. It seems they sacrificed playability when they went to online. The good news is that most online games do get better over time, if they are updated regularly.

April 18, 2013 at 6:43 pm #58566I think they should have made the plots bigger, hard to have one megacity, it forces you to have multiple citys with different specializations. I wish it would have been developed as a single player game and not on Orian.
May 7, 2013 at 3:22 pm #58565Now that I have had a chance to really dig into this game, I find that it’s not buggy….. It is flat out broken!!!! The only way to further the game is to create scenarios that are completely UN-realistic.
I really wanted to love this game but it will only leave you disappointed.
DO NOT BUY IT AT THIS TIME!!!!!!!
