Good times. I’ve been to a few most of the day rock/metal extravaganzas over the years. I gotta say that overall, this one was the best. There was no segment of shyte bands where I was bored to tears. First time evar.
Bands that reeeely rocked:
Airbourne – if you like oldschool rock esp AC/DC at all, even remotely you’ll enjoy. Even if you’re not a fanatic, they’re entertaining liveHailstorm – wasn’t sure if I was gonna dig them or not, chicks vocals are friggin ace live. Good show.
Bands that melted face:
HellYeah – I’ll just drop a link in here (music only). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyu5ckar5mQ
couple southern rockish tunes and the rest was pit inducing awesomeness like that.Stone Sour – was expecting a bunch of meh tunes sounding like their stuff that’s on the radio.. while they did play a couple radio friendly songs, the rest were intestine stomping groovy.
Disturbed – heard they were a snorefest live from a lot of people 2-3 years ago. I recon they brought in a consultant to fix that 😆

Airbourne is definitely very entertaining.
Looks like the Big Man Upstairs figured this festival redeemed your area. Cause he was sending Earl your way till he granted a reprieve.
