I have a flag outside of my front door. It is a very large Steelers flag. I will mail it to you for you to display proudly for two weeks on your home if the Steelers win.

    Been there, done that Sar.

Bones on phone from Wisconsin: You coming out to visit with Brak, Iathouz?

Iathouz: I can, Brak can’t. Not sure it’s worth just me going out.

Bones: Tell ya what, drive out from NY and I’ll come back with ya. I’ve had enough of the cheese state.

I had a lot less stuff back then. One dakota, one camaro, one high speed moving operation.

The hunting there is supposed to be outstanding, and the waterways and great lake provide a lot of fishing opportunities.

You’re right, you woulda hated it.

I have knowledge of your destination.

The women are DRINKERS in Wisconsin.

Chicago and Milwaukee are good cities.

    Winters are brutally cold.

    Women are DRIIIIIIIINKERS in Wisconsin.

Good luck! Look at it this way, you’re getting away from the in-laws!

Soak the plank for an hour in water to make it smoke and not burst into flame.

    Olive oil on the plank.

Seasoning was typical salt, pepper, oregano, basil type stuff. May have used lemon pepper. Season plank.

Place salmon on plank, oil and season salmon as you did the plank.

New recipe I have used is soy sauce and brown sugar. Soak the salmon in soy sauce for a few hours to a day. Same bit with the plank, soak it and oil it a bit, but the coat the top of the salmon with brown sugar. It melts down over the fish and it really is a nice flavor mixture of sweet and salt.

On a side note, Carol ran the Rochester Marathon last weekend. Figured you’d get a kick out of it being a runner.

Troy was a house of fire up until Fat Crumpler fell on him. I would like to be able to see the team rip off a huge 8 yard run before the end of the year though. Ugh.

New job last October means I am out of the family business HEL I was in for 5 years. I should have listened to Iathouz and the boys when they snickered at my predicament. Never, EVAR join a small company when you will be the only non-relative. Now in a job I immensely enjoy.

Winter and Spring have been full of soccer madness. Lil’ girl is not so little any more, and is quite the force on the field. I am steadily building a fusion of basketball post moves, football aggression and soccer in her. She’ll either be Olympic of banned from the sport entirely if things go as planned. She is also becoming a rather staunch Steeler fan, and will soon be taught that the best defense is not an offense, but the opposing quarterback being put on his backside. Repeatedly. With great repetition.

We adopted a greyhound a while ago as some of you know. We now foster dogs waiting for homes and have done so for about a year, having 6 or 7 dogs come stay with us in that time. They come off the race track and into our home where we try to acclimate them to things like stairs, people, grass, etc. They really know nothing but the crate and the racetrack until they come to us. I have also become an adoption representative for the group, interviewing folks that want to rescue a retired racer and seeing if they are ready for their quirks. More of that info is here. http://www.greyhoundadopt.org/volunteers.htm

The cat is NOT a fan of our little outreach effort however, and is rather upset whenever a new Godzilla dog arrives.

I still manage the Neverwinter Vault site about 350 days a year, and have taken a course here or there in an effort to get some computer certifications.

Not to nitpick, but that is dog torturing and killing quarterback.

Vick’s impact will be minimal in my opinion. I think his best TD count rushing was 5. More than that part time will be tough.

Also, keep in mind the Wildcat was a success because a tailback was starting with the ball. Ronnie Brown is a LOAD to bring down, and ran it up the gut at times. I just don’t see Vick having that success.

On a much lighter note, I drove 5 hours with the missus down to PA to watch the CURRENT AND SIX TIME WORLD CHAMPION PITTSBURGH STEELERS practice in Latrobe recently. 16,000 other people joined us in watching a training camp session, and I had seats 8 rows up on the 50 yard line. Excellent experience, saw all the guys I wanted to, and then got back in the car and drove 5 hours home.

On the way home, I stopped in Buffalo and at about midnight had a beer and some wings at the Anchor Bar, which happens to be the origin of the Buffalo Wing. They were fan-freaking-tastic. Another trip is planned, and it will be worth it.

I am ready for some football.

To be frank, I don’t think a lack of players would be a problem if the world was functional.

It’s the level of commitment by the admins and builders to seeing things through that is the key. Until that gets fixed, the project isn’t going anywhere. Not sure if anyone has noticed, but I’ve stated such to the point that I ran out of breath and stopped saying it.

The world won’t attract players until we can honestly offer them a place to play that doesn’t need a DM on all the time. MS 1 does not NEED a DM to play. MS 2 currently does.

Anyone else getting a 90’s Niners feel about this collection of old and so-called stars? It worked for the Niners for a ring, but they fell on dark times for long long years afterward.
