Kinda depends on time for me. Later better, as Sunday is bath night. Would be hard for me to get on much earlier than 9:30 PM or so.

Yeah, I can imagine it’s hard to be too excited about that pick. Almost feels like they were afraid not to do it, and then watch Newton possibly be something special.

As for the Patsies, I actually like our pick and trade. Solder has great upside, and I have no doubt that Bill and Scarnecchia can coach the kid to being a very good tackle. This does mean they need to resign Matt Light, as Solder isn’t going to start this year.

I don’t much mind trading out of the second pick and looking for a DL and LB guys there, to help improve the ability to get to the QB. But with 5 picks today, they can address those needs, as well as another OL guy (need an interior guy), and possibly a DB and a WR.

It’s the time for me. I can only take off for a couple nights at most, and all that’d be spent traveling.

I think it’s a great pick G, I just don’t know if the Kitties will do it. Certainly preferable to Gabbert or Newton, I’d rather have him than Bowers or Fairley.

That kid is super fast, big for a corner, good player.

How you liking the start of the Rivera era?

Heading south is a no go for me, but I also realize that G has driven more than his fair share for these things.

Still, I reckon if people do head south, there’ll be an eastward invasion of the Finger Lakes region by Tawmey in the PattyVan.

The womanly delights are for the Count, RenCableField. Bringing them on the road with you does not please me. Nor does bruising their lovely flesh.

Peterson at CB? All those sound good, though in rebuilding I could see the case for going defense first. All the pre-draft stuff I’m reading is pretty high on Fairley, but you’re right, how much of that is from his most recent game.

Still, searching Google for “Nick Fairley dirty” gives quite a few results. That should bump him over the edge IMO.

No offense, my panties ain’t bunched, it’s all good.

I like arguing stupid sh*t, whether it’s movies, sports, politics, music. Except for thermodynamics. I won’t listen to people argue about thermodynamics. Or global warming. Or how thermodynamics does or doesn’t inform our understanding of aforementioned global warming *blood runs out of ears*

My point is that the fact that Obama’s called Vick’s employer and didn’t call Rongrastname’s employer doesn’t mean jack sh*t.

One has rings (and is playing for another), the other has felonies. That’s pretty easy too.

I hate the Pack, but I can’t have Rapistberger and his team start horning in on my Bieber/Pats action. They all just a buncha juicer whiny ass titty babies.

GO PACK! I do like that Raji championship belt. That’s how you do it Aaron.

Dude, I live in Pats land, and it’s been a LONG week since we lost to the f**king Jets. It’s still all the sports talk radio around here are discussing (with bits of Bruins Claude Julien sux and Celtics stuff).

    Bring on the damn draft!

Pats got outplayed and outcoached, no doubt. Not anything good to take away. Other than the beginnings of a nice rivalry. Though that still sucks cause we were on the loosing end.

I like Mike Tomlin’s style. Check it here:

    http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-films-sound-efx/09000d5d81d4de76/Sound-FX-Tomlin-wired

I like this vid for two reasons: first, Tomlin knew the ball boy’s name, and that he was choosing where to go to college. That’s cool. Second, any Heath Miller highlights were part of my dismantling of Bonesy in the MFFL Super Bowl. (Oh, and that sack of Rapistberger might have been Charles Johnson points as well!)

Losing Ty Warren for the year before the season started is what really got us in trouble on the D line.

Then having Mike Wright and Myron Pryor out, along with Ron Brace being not a very good 2nd round pick in 2009 (he and Darius Butler can piss off – at least Pat Chung and Sebastian Vollmer are redeeming that class), leaves us with an old Gerrard Warren and an overachieving but still 7th rnd pick rookie Brandon Deadrick to help out My Favorite Fatty on the DL.

I certainly don’t buy the Pats as being quite as dominant as they appeared from the 2nd half of the Lions game to then end of the Bear game. If the offense can’t carry the team, the defense will get exposed quick.

Still, given the expectations from the start of the year, it’s been a fun one.

    Great link G! Thanks!

It’s been fun watching a lot of the young kids on this team. And no, I don’t mean Brandon Spikes’s extracurricular stuff.

WHat we really need are some good D lineman. More pressure on the QB would certainly help the secondary.

    Tough year in Pantherville G.

But just wanted to say thanks, as in thanks for the second round pick. Hoodie will put it to good use no doubt.

Along those lines, I’d like to retract my previous doubt about Bill’s pick of another DB. McCourty has played like money.
